Working Hours: / Monday – Thursday 8.30am - 5.30pm, Friday 8.30 - 1.00pm
Location: / Benton, Newcastle Upon Tyne
Main Purpose of the role: / You will be involved in coordinating the content for the company across their collection of websites. The position will involve working closely with developers and designers to coordinate the site content and write articles for all 5 of the company’s websites. It is imperative that the site content caters to the needs of each of the sites target audiences, so you will be responsible for researching customer profiles.
Special Circumstances: / This role is only open to UK & EU students to apply for.

  • Writing articles that will appear on one of a collection of websites
  • Ensuring that all digital offerings are fresh, creative & up to date
  • Interviewing people within the construction sector
  • Conducting online interviews
  • Researching sector news stories to add to the websites
  • Managing digital content
  • Maintain a consistent understanding of the company branding and PR strategy and ensure content is aligned
  • Maintenance of social media groups for company promotion
  • Research emerging social media platforms and new ways to further engage supporters
