9.  / Purpose of Services / The Department is looking for talented system and software testers to:
·  Analyse specifications and changes required to perform the testing process
·  Write, review and execute test cases, preferably leveraging from automated scripts
·  Raise defect reports and manage re-testing of defect fixes, and
·  Assist with the planning, monitoring and management of the testing process.

13.  / Documentation / The Department may provide to the Vendor Department Material and the Vendor must ensure that the Departmental Material is used strictly in accordance with any conditions or restrictions specified in item 9 of the Deed Details and any direction by the Department.
14.  / Skills knowledge transfer / Clause 35 of the deed applies (The contractor will be expected to transfer skills and knowledge to departmental officers and/or other contractor as requested)

·  Demonstrated experience as a Software Tester within an enterprise application development environment, with preference to those with no less than 5 years in testing complex client/server and mobile applications within an agile framework such as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or equivalent.
·  Well-developed testing skills, including the ability to write, review and execute complex manual and automated test cases for websites and mobile applications.
·  Well-developed experience in defect management using industry-standard tools such as Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS), Selenium or equivalent.
·  Demonstrated experience in SQL and querying databases using tools such as SQL Visual Studio.
Desirable Criteria:
Demonstrated knowledge and experience of Department of Employment Programmes, the Employment Services System (ESS) and/or related Department of Human Services IT systems.
16.  / Intellectual Property Rights – ownership of Contract Material / The Department owns the Intellectual Property Rights in Contract Material
Limitation of liability – cap / For SMEs, the Department will consider a liability cap at either:
$ 5 million per occurrence, or
$ 10 million in the aggregate
For non-SMEs, the Department will consider a liability cap at either:
$ 10 million per occurrence, or
$ 20 million in the aggregate

Police Check
All positions are “Trusted” and the successful candidate is required to undertake police check to be conducted by the department prior to commencement. Unfavourable outcome may result to early termination of the contract. This check will be arranged by the Department prior to commencement of the contractor. The Australian Government will meet the cost of police check.

Selection Criteria
