ROGER A. BICK

Mr. Bick is the Director, Air Force Financial Management Strategic Planning and Transformation Program Management Office at the Pentagon. He is responsible for producing SAF/FM’s long-term strategic plan and implementing FM’s service transformation.

Mr. Bick entered public service in 1977, enlisting as an Airman in the U.S. Air Force. He earned the grade of 2nd Lieutenant in 1980 and has since served as a financial manager at base, major command, and headquarters levels. He also served as a commander of the 16th Comptroller Squadron, Hurlburt Field, Florida and earned distinction as Best Installation Comptroller in the Air Force and Department of Defense. Mr. Bick culminated his military service as Commander, 314th Mission Support Group at Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas where be deployed and became the Commander, Baghdad International Airport during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Mr. Bick has earned recognition as Best Accounting and Finance Officer in the Air Force and DoD, Best Comptroller Author in the Air Force, DoD Budget Officer of the Year, Keesler AFB Company Grade Officer of the Year, and served as past President of the Gulf Coast Chapter, American Society of Military Comptrollers.
