Don’t know where the time goes! Is it really mid-May? Somehow we manage to stay busier than ever and the days/weeks just fly by. Guess that’s a good thing.
Any special summer trips coming up? If you find a new quilt shop, please let us know so we can pass it along. Better yet, post it on our Facebook page. Who knows? You might help us find some fun destinations for future trips. We are always open to suggestions.
Lynn is looking forward to her annual horse camping trip to the Sierras. Pam is headed to No. CA to help her niece sort through boxes and boxes of the kids’ T-shirts looking for some good candidates for T-shirt quilts for all three. Did I really say yes to that?
Just a reminder, due to our September St. Louis/Paducah trip this year, we switched our Quilt-Away weekend in Temecula from September to August. See below for details.
Temecula Quilt-Away Retreat – August 23-26, 2018
Our Temecula Quilt-Away Retreats are always fun and productive weekends. Your retreat fee includes dinner Thursday evening through brunch on Sunday for those arriving on Thursday, or for Friday arrival, dinner on Friday through brunch on Sunday. If you wish to arrive before lunch on Friday, there is an additional fee of $15 for lunch.
Note: The guest rooms are on the ground floor and second floor (no elevators). If you require a ground floor room, please indicate that on your registration form. While we cannot guarantee a “ground floor” room, we will make every effort to accommodate your request. For the August Temecula Quilt-Away Retreat, we will accept reservations through June 5, 2018. At that time,if we have more registrations than we can accommodate, we will close reservations and do a lottery for the spaces on the trip. Those not drawn for the lottery will go onto our waitlist. Registrants will be notified shortly after the lottery as to whether we can confirm their space or have put them on the wait list. For reservations received after June 5, we will add you to the wait list in the order received.
If, however, by June 5, 2018 reservations do not exceed our available space, then reservations will remain open until the trip fills.
Please complete the registration form and mail in with your deposit/payment. If, after June 5, 2018, we can confirm your space on the trip, we will send you a confirmation and deposit your check. If you are on the wait list, we will notify you and return your check.
Mystery Trip – Thursday, November 15, 2018 . . . note, this is a weekday.
We’ve planned another adventure for you. And, yes, the date is correct. We’re offering the Mystery trip on a weekday this time. You’ll see why at our first stop. Suffice it to say that we have things to see, and touch, and lots of shopping opportunities. Some may be close to home and some may be new and different. OK, no more clues! Join us for a fun-filled day before the holiday craziness settles in!

The Traveling Quilters - Full Release of All Claims
In consideration of my participation in the Traveling Quilters and any and all of its events, I, ______, intending to be legally bound, for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, do hereby fully and finally waive, release and hold harmless the Traveling Quilters, their officers, employees, members, representatives, agents and assignees from any and all responsibility, liability, claims, causes of action, injuries, judgments or other damages of any nature whatsoever, including, but not limited to, any personal injuries I might suffer, directly or indirectly resulting from my participation in, or travel to and from, the aforesaid activity.
I acknowledge that I am engaging in the aforesaid activity, and knowingly executing this Release, at my insistence and request and that I voluntarily do so without any coercion whatsoever.
Signature / DateCancellation Policy: An administrative fee will be charged for all cancellations made after booking (unless otherwise noted). The fees are: 1-day trips: $15; 2 to 3-day trips: $40.00; 4+day trips - $100.00. Please note that additional cancellation penalties may apply. Those will be detailed in your confirmation notice.
Layaway Plan. After your deposit is made, we are happy to take interim payments on our large trips.
Travelers Needing Special Assistance. These are active tours. The Traveling Quilters regret that we cannot provide individual assistance for walking, dining, or other personal needs. For your comfort and safety, a companion must accompany persons who require special assistance.
Please note that all prices are subject to increase due to fluctuations in land and transportation costs.
