• signal pass & pass with signal

& slow to allow pass-be considerate

•”in a spin both feet in”

The LINE

• learn and visualize the track

• Late Apex vs. EA

• use all the track at speed

SMOOTHNESS is the KEY

• hand positions/shuffle steering

no jiggles of the wheel in a turn

• brake, then downshift, then turn

• downshifts-match revs, no jerks

• large arcs vs. driving cone-to-cone

• when cornering: slow in-out fast

• tire sounds = feedback to SMOOTH

Practice – in daily driving

• Smoothness & finding The Line

• High Eyes – less brake in rush hour

• Hand positions - preposition

• Heel/Toe – brake/accelerate together

• Rev matching when downshifting

• Become “seamless”, i.e. passenger

is less or unaware of inputs such as

braking, shifting, turning, accelerating
