ROCKDALE FAIR ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP
- Eligibility:
a.Graduating senior could be a Milam County resident attending any public, private, or home school
b.Graduating senior could be a non-Milam County resident attending a Milam County public, private, or home school
- Qualifications and requirements:
- Applicant must be an active member of a Milam County FFA Chapter or 4-H
Club
b. Must provide SAT and/or ACT scores
c. Must have exhibited livestock projects at the Rockdale Fair
d. Must provide a typed and completedapplication by student
e. Must have a sealed copy of high school transcript
f.Must have two letters of reference (requested on application)
3.Selection Process:
a. Scholarship committee will select finalists using above criteria
b. Qualified finalists will be interviewed by scholarship committee
4. Payment Process:
a. Payment will be made to recipient's school of choice
b. School will receive the first payment for the fall semester and the
secondpayment for the spring semester after providing proof of registration and enrollment for each semester
c. All funds must be used within two years of high school graduation
d. School ID number and mailing address given to RFA treasurer, Kristi Moreland and Glenda Wiley, Scholarship chairman
