Rock 95’s Start The Subaru Contest Rules and Regulations
- The Rock 95 Start the Subaru Contest grand prize consists of: a 2 year lease on a 2018 Subaru Forester 2.5i courtesy of Barrie Subaru.
- The Rock 95’s Start the Subaru Contest begins at 6am on Tuesday, November 7th, 2017 and concludes at 11pm on Friday, December 1st, 2017.
- Rock 95 will be qualifying 95 lucky listeners for the Start the Subaru Contest. Listeners can qualify only once for the duration of the contest. If it is discovered that a listener has qualified more than once, they will be disqualified from the contest. Only one winner per household is allowed to qualify for this contest.
- To successfully qualify for Rock 95’s Start the Subaru contest listeners need to be the correct caller through at 705-721-ROCK (7625) when they hear the cue to call. Upon qualifying, the successful listener will earn a spot in the Start the Subaru Contest and will attend the Grand Prize giveaway at Barrie Subaru’s showroom (2454 Doral Dr, Innisfil, ON L9S 0A3) on Sunday December 3rd from 3-6pm. Start the Subaru cue to call will run roughly 25 times a week Monday-Friday between 6am-11pm.

- The grand prize will be awarded on site at the Barrie Subaru Dealership on Sunday December 3rd, 2017 from 3-6pm. Each qualifier will be given a key and one by one will attempt to start the key. Whosevers key starts the car will be the grand prize winner.
- All qualifiers must be present at Barrie Subaru with photo I.D. by 3:00pm to be eligible to win. Failure to do so will result in the qualifier being disqualified. Special exceptions can be made at the discretion of Rock 95, and must be made before December 1st. If the grand prize winner is deemed ineligible to receive the grand prize, then all remaining qualifiers will go into a draw and a Rock 95 staff member will pull out a name.
- Rock 95 is not responsible for a listener's inability to call due to service interruption, technical problems, the failure of a telephone or electronic equipment, or the inability of a listener to contact Rock 95 for any reason whatsoever. Decisions of Rock 95 are final and cannot be challenged.
- Rock 95 reserves the right to amend the rules at any time and make the changes effective retroactive. If, after the contest has begun, changes or updates are made, the changes will be announced on the day the changes are made and will be made available at our studio, 431 Huronia rd, Unit 10 or on-line at rock95.com.
- To take over the 2 year car lease on the 2018 Subaru Forester the grand prize winner must: have approved credit, proof of insurance and agree to have all maintenance done at the Barrie Subaru Dealership. Failure to do so will result in the grand prize winner forfeiting the car.
- The lease allots for 40,000km during the 2 years. The grand prize winner will be responsible for paying any kilometer overage, as well as any wear and tear damages on the vehicle, when returning the lease in accordance with Subaru Financial.
- The Rock 95 Start the Subaru Contest is open to anyone over the age of 19 who resides within CFJB-FM’s coverage area- excluding personnel of Rock 95, Central Ontario Broadcasting, other media groups or their affiliated companies or subsidiaries, their advertising and promotional agencies and members of their respective families.
- Rock 95 reserves the right, in their absolute discretion, to disqualify without notice any qualifier that they find to be: violating the Contest rules; tampering or attempting to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or any Contest website; acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person; or attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest. Any attempt by an entrant or any other individual to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest may be a violation of criminal and/or civil laws. Should any such attempt be made, Rock 95 reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution, and Central Ontario Broadcasting reserves the right to ban or disqualify an entrant from this Contest and any future contests.
- The prize, unless otherwise specified by Barrie Subaru, is non-transferable, cannot be exchanged, transferred or substituted for cash. If the prizes go unused, Rock 95 or any party associated with this contest will not provide compensation or substitutions.
- By entering this contest you are giving Rock 95 and their promotional partners consent to publicize and or broadcast your name/character, and you forfeit the right to decline being part of an interview.
- Rock 95, Central Ontario Broadcasting, and their promotional partner’s will not be responsible or liable, in anyway in regards to the prize or any aspect of the prize, not being available, due to circumstances beyond their control.
- Rock 95, Central Ontario Broadcasting, and their promotional partners will not be responsible or liable in anyway for injury of any degree including death to the winner and their guest in regards to the grand prize.
