Timed Projects

Loop

The robot starts on a tile and moves forward 3 tiles. It then makes a 90 degree turn to the left and moves forward another 3 tiles. This continues until the robot is back in the starting tile.

Maze 1

The robot makes a series of forward motions and turns to navigate a tile maze as shown below.


Photo Resistor Projects

In The Ring

The robot is placed in a 5 foot diameter circle made of tape. The robot drives around in the ring and stays inside.

Line Follower

The robot follows a 20 line made of tape.

Light Seeker

The robot moves toward the brightest light source in the room (e.g. a flashlight).

Wall Follower 1

The robot drives along a 20 foot wall maintaining a distance between 1 and 6 inches.

The Wave

The robot follows a wave shaped line.

The Oval

The robot follows an oval line back to its starting point.

Railroad Crossing

The robot follows a 20 foot line that has a 90 degree block and a 45 degree block.

Maze 2

The robot navigates through a maze made of tape.


Sonar Projects

Wall Follower 2

The robot drives along a 20 foot wall maintaining a distance between 1 and 0.5 meters.

Wall Detector

The robot drives around an empty room and changes directions when encountering a wall.

Obstacle Avoidance

The robot navigates down a hallway containing obstacles without hitting them.
