Acceptance of Minutes of Last Meeting:
The 29/10/15minutes were accepted. Linda to publish on website. ACTION: Linda
Actions carried over from last meeting:
- Patient Record Access. Steve has some reservations about his testing, he will contact Linda. The project has been delayed because of the need to hide third party data. This is easy in “System1” but not in our “EMIS” computer system ACTION: Steve
- Steve will raise possibility of Derbyshire Healthcare & Healthwatch joint meeting at Whitemoor at the PPG Chairs meeting. ACTION: Steve
- “JoinedUp Care in Belper”. Considerable discussion mainly about the lack of input and consultation with PPGs. Steve will raise the possibility a joint PPG meeting at Strutts, atthe PPG Chairs meeting next week, with a view to inviting MPs, SDCCG. ACTION: Steve
- Request for raised chairs (leg extenders) in each downstairs waiting room ACTION: Linda
- Linda reported that mental health patients were reviewed every year with other providers and the results were documented.
New Items & AOB:
- The NAPP sub-committee has reviewed their website and showed a video.
- The GPs were invited to our meetings but prefer to have contact through Linda unless specifically requested.
- John M is the Lead Governor for Derbyshire HealthCare.
- Discussion on the proposed £3000 maternity fund. Concerns that it could detract from an already underfunded service, and could impact on GPs.
- A review of South Derbyshire website showed it was very out of date No response to John M’s contact yet.
- DCC Children’s Centre link
- David asked if a routine Alzheimer’scheckwas providedat the practice as it was thought this was available in Derby City. A health check is, Linda to report back. ACTION: Linda
- The waiting room notice boards are a problem again while a different member of staff is trained. Any suggestions or offers of help to Linda. ACTION: All
- No new information on CQC inspection.
- Can the “Disabled” parking notices be raised to windscreen level.ACTION: Linda
