risk assessment - <film title>

The Producer of the film shoot has conducted a safety and security risk assessment to identify and rate those risks and threats likely

to impact on the conduct of the film shoot. In general, all identified risks or threat mechanisms have accompanying risk mitigation

strategies and those risks or threat mechanisms rated high or greater shall be addressed by a safety plan.

This safety and security risk assessment is for the <film title> shoot to be held in <venue> on <date>. The risk assessment is

focused on those risks the Producer will be responsible for managing. This risk assessment forms the basis for the preparation of

Item No. / Risk Mechanism description / Likelihood / Impact / Rating / Producer’s Risk Mitigation Strategy / Producer’s Actions (Operational Plan Reference)
1 / Example: Failure of event structures / Rare / Major / Low / Site will be inspected as-built by …..prior to shoot commencing / Infrastructure plan Safety Standards (section…) Engineer’s certificate to be kept on file
2 / Example: Interruption due to adverse weather, wind, flooding, etc / Possible / Moderate / Moderate / Monitor weather and implement plan (who is responsible?) / Weather plan:

In the case of lightning the shoot will not proceed.
Decisions will be made in consultation between…… on site

the safety, security and emergency management plans.

ANALYSIS

<One> Moderate rated risk(s) associated with the film shoot was/were identified that will require specific risk management

initiatives. Risk mitigation strategies have been implemented separately in the safety plan (attached). The remaining Low

rated risks would be managed by existing operations and procedures, which are included in the Producer’s Standard

Operating Procedures.
