Dear Mr. Buckman:

I received a letter from Mr. John F. Schance on Feb 23, 2011 telling of sending my documents to you regarding Veterans Affairs decisions and seeking assistance.

* Re: rec’d 2/18/2011: What to do if I disagree with a VA decision! I disagree with the decision of the VA regarding only 10% disability due to Ischemic Heart disease because the VA letter entitled Page 4, 4th paragraph 3rd line that my “… catheterization was in 2009 which resulted in 0% blockage” …with which I do not agree. Please review the MRI photo of my heart before and after the angioplasty and stent and see the schematic drawing from Roseville Cardiology of the existing 17 heart artery blockages; Find the VA records of Mare Island Agent Orange exam with VA nurse Ann Clobis in 2002 when she did a cardio-encephalogram and urgently told me that I had already suffered a heart attack!

*Monthly payments of $123; Re; ck for $615; rec’d 2/18/2011; I don’t understand if this is a monthly payment for Compensation or a type of Pension? For how long?

*Original VA letter of decision dated February 11, 2011 and received by me on February 22, 2011; page 2; NOTE; “You submitted claims for several disabilities. You will receive a separated rating decision with regard to the issues.”

Interpreted to mean that I will soon receive addition notices regarding other disabilities and long term constant disabilities from such Agent Orange diseases as:

  1. Fasciitis/Scleroderma, with years of recurring Chloracne skin sores since the truck wreck into rice paddy in 2nd Inf. Div. S. Korea Aug 1968 and Chloracne sores, swollen arm pit glands and constant pain of recurring Chloracne skin sores, then worsening into hardening skin and skin leathering, very rough skin and Chloracne skin sores and worsening into the flesh and fascia muscle coverings strangling many muscles of the body; leathered skin on legs, arms, hands and abdomen, with claw-like hands with open sores of Chloracne combined sores on the lower legs,
  2. inability to keep my balance due to solidified leg muscles and Dr. Cheema’s orders of avoiding fast walking exercise and avoiding climbing stairs because that exercise will aggravate the Fasciitis, increase solidified leg muscle pain and slow the progress of Prednisone and Methotrexate medicines; inability to squat down at about 10% of normal with the seized up legs, knees and ankles,
  3. inability to stand over 5-10 minutes before the legs start uncontrolled shaking or sit in one place over about 30 minutes due to increasing pain whereby I have to move around a bit and sit on pillows or lie down several times per day;
  4. I can’t bend over very well and get quick increased back & leg pain,
  5. 100% disability due to Unemployability as I have been unable to convince any company to hire me due to multiple medical problems and constant back, right hip, and right leg pain problems, sudden sickness and heavy sweating… after more than 36 job applications back in the late 1990s and early 2000s; I have not had a pay check job since 1997 & 1998 as computer technician for $10/hr, SSA declared me disabled effective as of May 1997 due to constant pain and inability to work a normal work week with only 28% capability of work hours/week,
  6. 42 years recurring Chloracne skin sores disrupting nerves in peripheral neuropathy of skin whereby even the elastic in sock hurt the skin and leave dents,
  7. recurring sudden bouts of increased body pain, sickness and heavy sweating,
  8. rheumatoid arthritis in knees, rt hip, rt shoulder and fingers w/grinding pain,
  9. drop-foot right foot, occasional leg collapse right leg with abrupt fall, i.e. fall 2/12/2011 and momentary inability to get up, taken by ambulance to Sutter Roseville Medial Center 11:00 p.m. until 06:00 a.m. 2/13/2011 with later no understanding of serious disease after CAT scan and blood screens,

I am including some of the listed documents and the Korea 2nd Inf. Div. DMZ photo booklet and the Steve Witter letters of Agent Orange in Korea 1968-1969. See the included notarized letters by Steve Witter of 2nd Inf. Div. Chemical Company of Agent Orange stationed at Camp Houze, written with Notary and with additional letter in 2004.

I had to stop the VA and the Disabled American Veterans from continuing to process my VA claim(s) last year because so many things were incorrect, because DAV was processing one claim and the VA was processing another claim in my name with an incorrect VA number; and DAV had my supporting documents scattered in at least three different offices and 5 different Vet Representatives of rude people.

I was treated very rudely and was told in VA’s repeated comments such as; “You were never in Viet Nam so it can’t be Agent Orange.” “We don’t know what is wrong with you; go back to your regular doctors.” I was told by Yreka, CA Karuk doctors Diller and Winterstein, of military medical experience, that I had Agent Orange contamination and to go back to the VA!

I did, and was chased off again and again! The VA, the US Army and South Korea government all collaborated in lying for years to cover up of the use of Agent Orange, agent white and agent blue in Korea all the while I was there in 1968-1969.
