8 & 10 amChrist Church – At both services we will bless and distribute pocket crosses. During Lent keep your pocket cross with you and think of a person you would particularly like to pray for. Your pocket cross can be a reminder to pray for that person and, at Easter time, you can give that person your cross and let them know you’ve been praying for them during Lent.

February 28th – Tuesday

6:00 pmThe Church of the Ascension - Stations of the Cross, followed by a simple soup supper and program in the Undercroft. This year’s program will focus on identifying our gifts. Guided by the many spiritual gifts identified by St. Paul in his letters to the churches he founded.

February 29th – Wednesday

6:30 pmSt. Andrew’s-Soup & Conversation – Soup followed by a prayer service and conversation. This year the spirituality of St. Theresa of Avila will be explored through words and music, which calls us to enter into the quiet and enter the castle of our soul. We will also explore the spirituality of St. Augustine of Hippo, which wrestles with faithfulness and restlessness. (in Burch Hall)

6:45 – 8:45pmSt. John’s Church in Eccleston Hall, simple supper followed at 7:30 by Study Series

7:00 pmAll Saints Church – Silent meditation from followed by an adult class at 7:30. Will be reading and discussing passages from the Desert Fathers.

7:00 – 9:00pmChrist Church – Stations of the Cross 7:00 followed by a potluck supper at 7:30. At 8:00 the study portion begins and will end promptly at 9:00. For the Lenten Study this year we will read and discuss Tattoos of the Heart: The Power of Boundless Compassion by Gregory Boyle.
