Name: THE BILL RALLS TECHNOLGOY SCHOLARSHIP

Amount: $1,000

Rules: Must be a senior in a Clay County high school, minimum weighted GPA of 2.5, verification of 30 service community hours; plan to enroll full-time in a college or technical school to major in the field of computers or technology, written essay explaining need for financial assistance and future goals and three letters of recommendation.

Name: NATIONAL CO-OP SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM-JOHNSON & WALES

Amount: 15 $6,000 scholarships, renewable for up to $24,000

Name: ORANGE PARK WOMAN’S CLUB SCHOLARSHIP

Amount: $500 Minimum

Amount: $500 Minimum

Rules: Must be a graduating senior from a Clay County high school and must be planning to seek a degree in Visual Arts or Arts Education; must complete an application and a letter of recommendation from current art teacher and must provide a copy of a college/university acceptance letter.

Name: SERVIN/ELLIS SCHOLARSHIP Award

Amount: $4000 fund to be divided among more than one recipient.

Rules: Available to any high school senior that is enrolled or plans to enroll in the current year to undergraduate study. Students must first qualify by having a parent or guardian who is a Federal Credit Union member or by being a member themselves and requires a short essay and two letters of recommendation. Amount: Two $500 scholarships are given with the possibility of $1000 more.

Name: CLAY CHAMBER FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

Amount: 1 $2000 and 6 $1000 scholarships available

Rules: All high school seniors are encouraged to apply regardless of academic merit or financial need status; the committee will consider all eligible students and will base award decisions on the entire application, not just GPA, scores financial circumstances, etc.

Name: SCHOLARSHIPS FOR DREAMERS

Amount: The scholarship is intended to cover a significant portion of your tuition and fees up to a maximum of $12, 500 for an associate’s degree and $25,000 for a bachelor’s degree.

Rules: Available to high school seniors with demonstrated financial need who are first time college students and seek to earn a career-ready associates or bachelor’s degree at one the partner colleges. GPA 2.5 or higher, financial need and be college ready. See application for more details

Name: CLAY COUNTY FAIR ASSOCIATION, INC

Rules: Must be a resident of Clay County or attend a Clay County High School. Must be associated with one of the following Clay County groups: 4-H, FFA, FCCLA or Police Explorers, must have good attendance and discipline records, GPA must be 2.5 or higher, must volunteer 10 hours of community service with the Clay County Fair d during March 31 to April 9, 2016 and must attend the college or technical institution to which the scholarship has been granted in the fall following high school graduation.

Name: NAVY WIVES CLUBS OF AMERICA SCHOLARSHIP

Amount: 30 scholarships awarded from $1,000 to $1,500

Rules: Must be a dependent of an active duty, retired with pay or deceased enlisted member of the US Navy, Marine Corps or Coast Guard. Applicant must have a valid Dependent ID Card. Applicant must show basis of financial need and have a 2.5 GPA or higher and be a graduate of an accredited high school.

Name: JP HALL CHARITIES SCHOLARSHIP

Amount: Varies

Rules: Must be a resident of Clay County, have good attendance, be drug free and free from disciplinary action in both school and the community, GPA must be 2.5 or higher, must be willing to volunteer 10 hours working with the JP Hall Charities, must attend college in the fall after graduation and must receive more than $2,000 in financial assistance from other sources.

Name: CLAY COUNTY FARM BUREAU SCHOLARSHIP

Amount: TBD

Rules: Must be a child or grandchild of a Farm Bureau member for the past year or more, must plan to study in an agriculture related field, must agree to volunteer for 3 hours for Clay County Farm Bureau programs, must be involved in social, civic organizations and community activities, and must provide financial statement info from your college prior to the receipt of the scholarship check.

Name: SOPHIA FLEMING NATIONAL SOCIETY DAUGHERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION SCHOLARSHIP

Amount: Two $500 scholarships

Rules: Any 2016 graduating senior pursuing a postsecondary education program may apply. There is no GPA requirement. Must complete an application and provide letters of recommendation.

Name: SJRSC COLLEGE GOAL SUNDAY SCHOLARSHIP

Amount: Two $250 scholarships (one to SJRSC, one to any college)

Rules: Simply attend the College Goal Sunday event at SJRSC to register. On February 14, 2016 from 1:00 to 4:00 on the Orange Park campus, SJRSC will be providing free assistance to complete your FAFSA application. Winner will be selected at random from among those attending.
