RFQ Lighting Retrofit 2013, Project R575381

Please find the following Addendum 3:

Question 1:

I am reviewing this request for quote. Under the section “Other Lighting” you have compact fluorescent lamps. How are we to quote this? there is no specific lamp listed. You will get multiple quotes that are not the same product. When you compare the quotes they will all be different. Can you provide a list of lamps that you need?

Answer: There are many different applications in many buildings at WSU and we do not know all of the products that we will use. Therefore we require the vendor to supply their published price list of the applicable products and the vendor’s discount off of the price list for that product line.

Question 2:

After reviewing the occupancy sensor section the items you have listed are good part numbers, but these parts are not functional without additional parts to control the sensors. Do we quote just these sensors or are we to add the additional items?

Answer: For this RFP price the parts that were listed and supply the additional controls and their respective prices as a separate price line item. The two must constitute a complete working system.

Question 3:

After reviewing the fixture section. I need to know how many lamps are in each fixture? This wil vary the cost of the fixtures.

Answer: Again due to the vast diversity of applications and building types, the exact type and number of tubes will vary by building and application. Therefore we require the vendor to supply their published price list of the applicable products and the vendor’s discount off of the price list for that product line.
