Thus highest common factor is 6.

  1. Find the LCM of 12, 20 and 30.

Solution

Multiples of 12, 20 and 30 are

12= {12, 24, 36, 48, 60, 72 ………)

20= {20, 40, 60, 80 ……….}

30= {30, 60, 90 …………}

Thus LCM is 60.

  1. Use a calculator to evaluate the following

Here we simply look for the lowest common multiply (LCM) of 4, 8 and 2 which is 8.
