- ABPR – enrollment was down so the program invited businesses nationwide and got feedback. The program was changed to more what was needed in industry. The proposal is to change the program to a one-year certificate of achievement
- Question if students who are in the AAS will finish in the Spring so no students will be left behind
- Question on since there are new courses for a new certificate, this action needs to go to the Board of Regents for approval
- Keeping the AAS for now
- Question on the availability of a 12 credit hour class, but that course is to reflect what is wanted by industry
- There may be some non credit options for the part-time student in the future. Also no historical part-time students
- Summer tuition will still be regular year tuition
- Dates of classes will follow the regular terms so that veterans’ benefits and other financial aid will fit.
- A certificate of achievement need to be in place before these steps take place
- Program description for AAS will be left as is for now, but the existing certificate of achievement needs to be removed
- Proposal withdrawn for now and will be cleaned up

- Question on 103, the internship will be handled through the school
- Injuries and other liability will be covered by affiliation agreements with industry and waiver forms signed by students. Co op has liability included in the program
- Question on the prerequisites for 102 and 103 because they are the same as 101, but the prerequisites are to be kept in

- Courses deactivated so that the AAS can be reinstated. In the future, the AAS may be modified. Also the college catalog would be cleaned up and easier for the students to view. This section tabled
- The end actions suggestionswere to add the new courses into the AAS degree and then a certificate of achievement to be created in the future for Fall 2016. Program change was tabled upon revision
- There are two banner codes for the certificate or AAS, so the students will not be confused upon registration even if the AAS will not be offered

- Question on contact hours, but suggested to work with deans

- Math 150, Math 197 was experimental and this is the replacement of the experimental courses. Math 150P is for Pearl Harbor only
- Question is it designated for Gen Ed, and it is for CTE not for AA’s
- These courses are not a part of the developmental math changes that are forthcoming this term
- Placement will be forthcoming on the recommendations new math placement committee
- More incidents of Math 197 were attached to the proposal
- Question as can the 150 and 150P be electives if students change majors away from CTE to AAS. The appropriate box has been checked
- These classes will not be listed as meeting the math requirement for a AAS degree
- Suggested that the additional information for 150P only at Pearl Harbor
- New Math 150 and 150Pcourses approved(all in favor but one abstention)

- Program prerequisites do not trickle down to courses. The prerequisites need to be on the course itself so that Banner can enforce the prerequisite
