2 / Requisitioning under PBL/Cataloging NSNs for multiple supply sources
VTC with Federal Cataloging Committee:
Background: In 2005, the Total Life Cycle Systems Management (TLCSM) Executive Council identified the need for a systems solution to address the issue of common item support where one NSN is used on more than one platform and requisitions may be satisfied by either the DoD SoS or a PBL provider. In some scenarios, duplicative cataloguing actions came about as a stop-gap measure to establish the PBL provider as the source of supply (SOS), thereby allowing direct routing of the electronic requisition to PBL provider. The Supply PRC and the Federal Cataloging Committee have studied automated solutions that would accommodate cataloging NSNs in association with a PBL SoS; however a solution that will allow requisitions to flow to the appropriate source of supply with minimal disruption of existing legacy processes while eliminating the multiple NSN assignments for the same parts has been elusive.
This meeting: Review options for determination of optimal direction for future development / May 16, 9:00am

5 / Report on DLA /Army Monthly Issue Resolution Meeting:
DLA and Army meet monthly to address mutual electronic communication issues which negatively impact logistics processes. Under the SES level leadership, detailed discussion, research, and programming adjustments on both sides are providing better understanding, and often a speedy resolution. Many issues include business rules and correct processing for specific types of supply status provided by BSM and DSS. Other functional areas (including partial TCN, price increases, credit/credit reversal under MRP) are also addressed. Most of the topics apply to all Services, and all will benefit from improved performance. / May 17, 9:30*

6 / New topic: Application ofDAASC edits on valid sold to, ship to, bill to in context of MRO traffic / May 17, 10:30*

7 / New topic: Procedures for cancellation of existing orders where the Bill-To DoDAAC has been deleted / May 17, 11:00*

8 / Procedures for Monitoring for Requisition Priority Abuse:
Review current procedures for DAAS edit & DAAS reports (ReportFormat Clarification) (Part I, Summary and Part I, Summary – Transactions Not submitted thru DAAS)(reports Part II and III cannot be posted to open web) : PRC members should register for access to Logistics Reports on DAAS web. Review recent reports to provide feedback during meeting.
Discussion will include potential new procedures for GSA: GSA internet ordering does not have access to confirm Force Activity Designators for ordering units requesting PD 01. Current efforts to identify and confirm is manual, time-consuming, and may not be effective due to lack of response. GSA would like assistance with determining best approach for validating requisitions. / May 17, 1:00pm
9 / Army Off-Line Requisitioning IPT:
IPT tasking to achieve detailed understanding of the causes for inadequate/incomplete information flow between supply support from DLA/GSA and Army financial processes resulting in disbursements without prior obligation and develop path for corrective action. IPT is pursuing revisions to Army and DoD business rules for requisitioning and interfund billing for various types of offline purchases.
Review of Phase I (functional) findings and status update for Phase II (technical)
Proposed DLMS Change (PDC) 266 is under development for establishment of an on-line real-time interface with Army Funds Control to determine if funds are available prior to accepting order within DoD EMALL and GSA Advantage/Global.
