Revealing the champion in all of us!

To Whom It May Concern:

I represent the Northland 300, a charity snowmobile ride which raises funds for Special Olympics Minnesota on a year-round basis. This year will mark our 30th consecutive year of this event and will take place January 24-28, 2018. We are trying to make this year extra special but we need your help while we collect prizes, gift cards, discount cards, services or items for our swag bags. What is really unique about our event is that is totally run by all volunteers so that 100% of the funds can go directly to the athletes of Special Olympics.

The Mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and competitions for those persons with intellectual disabilities, that contributes to life-long physical fitness, personal growth and achievements for both their world and the communities in which they live.

In order to make the Northland 300 a success, we are requesting prizes, gift cards, or certificates from your business. This is both a tax deduction for you, while helping us to fundraise. Special Olympics Minnesota is a 501(c)(3) organization and our form is available upon request. Our Tax ID number is 41-1228157. Any discounts or services from your business can also be put to use by us.

We are appreciative for any donation you might render for a cause that is so close to our hearts. Should you have any questions or concerns, you can direct them to the contact information listed on the bottom of this letter. Arrangements for pick up are also available.

I would like to thank you for taking the time to consider a donation.
