  • Creation of landfill gas compression and treatment specifications for a proposed 25MW Waste to Energy Power Generation facility outside of Seattle, Washington.
  • Preparation of proposal statement of work, development of specifications for HRSGs, boiler feedwater pumps, tail gas compressors for a proposed 235MW Combined Heat and Power Facility in Sao Paulo Brazil. Combustion Gas Turbines include two (2) Siemens-Westinghouse 501D5A's.

  • Preparation of specifications for mechanical equipment, and completion of technical bid evaluations of vendor bids required for installation of gas turbines for use in power generation and gas transmission applications.
  • Preparation of Process Flow Diagrams, and P&IDs to define project scope of supply. Mechanical design of fuel gas, steam, and other piping systems as required to ASME B31.1, B31.3, and B31.8 piping codes.
  • Review vendor approval drawings and documentation for accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

Primary responsibility for fuel gas compressor start-up while assisting Solar Field Service representatives and plant operators commission turbine generator sets and balance of plant equipment.
  • Inlet slug catchers; compressor suction scrubbers; air-cooled heat exchangers; manual valves selected for re-staging of a 225-mmscfd natural gas transmission station located on an offshore platform in Azerbaijan.
  • Specification of Compressor Suction Scrubbers; fuel gas treatment skids; and the balance of plant mechanical equipment for a 130-mmscfd expansion to the Williams Kern River natural gas pipeline. New Installation of Compressor stations at Daggett California , Veyo Utah , and Elberta Utah.
  • Specification of controls, instrumentation, and mechanical equipment for a Solar Taurus 70 installation in New York State. Coordination of fuel gas compressor start-up and commissioning with client and compressor manufacturer.
  • Fuel gas compressor specification, selection, start-up, and trouble-shooting for Solar Turbines domestically and abroad.
