Using Novell eDirectory as an identityvault for common user data, the solution uses Novell's XML based Identity Manager to synchronize dataacross applications and automatically cascade changes in one application to all other relevantapplications.

Worked in an EAI project, in Retail vertical. Client wasCendant, USA. Cendant has a chain of retail outlets across USA for Car rental services, and owns several Hotels across the globe.
Project Objective
Cendant wanted to integrate all its chain of hotels and to have a single CRS (Central Reservation System) as it had nine different legacy systems corresponding to each CRS. The hotel reservations could be made through several websites. These websites have to be re-engineered in J2EE architecture. The middle-tier was in TIBCO Business Works. This middle tier acted as a framework which links all the front-ends with the CRS.

Worked in an EAI project, in Retail vertical. Client was Staples, USA. Staples is a chain of retail outlet across USA meeting the demand of office products.
Project Objective
Staples had multiple legacy system across USA to store various kinds of data. Each system has its own format of storing data. The objective was to have a common database, integrate the system to other clients of Staples for B2B transactions. To make these B2B transactions fast and smooth, a customized Application Server was made. This is done in open source using Apache HTTP server code in C/C++.
Once the B2B transactions were done the data was validated and synchronized. For this process a GUI was made using JSP/Servlets in Struts framework. All the integration and communication amongst the processes were done through a middleware.

It is an international health and population research and training institution located in Dhaka, Bangladesh and is a non-profit organization. The ERP implemented at ICDDR, B was Microsoft Navision.
Project Objective
ICDDR, B is having various departments like Finance, Inventory, HR etc where each was having independent database of its own on legacy system. The finance for this organization comes from USA. The donors there to monitor the various departments wanted some business solution. Also these departments were not integrated to each other. The objective was to implement an ERP to integrate the departments to each other and design a corresponding front-end for the donors to see the status of the different departments.
Job profile & Technologies used
  • Made forms, tables, reports and processes in the finance module of the project. Programming language used was Client Application Language (C/AL) in the ERP.
  • Did Unit testing, Integration testing, Validation testing and System testing.
  • Was a part of User Acceptance Testing team.
  • Integration of ERP with other Microsoft products using XML.
