Drumchapel, Corrinna Whitaker and Craig Hardie, were worthy winners of Division 1 with East Kilbride A, Michael Connolly and Andrew Shields, close on their heels. It was encouraging to note the good performance of the 128th BB, Scott Allan, Graham White and Chris Provan, who in their first year in the league shared third position with North Ayrshire A.
Division 2 proved to be a very close finish between Knightswood, Sean Doherty and James Martin, and Drumchapel Girls, Stephanie McCallum and Natasha Milliken, with Knightswood winning the league by a point. Again it was encouraging to see good performances from Maccabi, Aaron Taylor, Simon Cohen, in third place, and sharing fourth place the 278th BB, Andrew Russell, Calum McInnes and Craig Johnston, and Holyrood B, Sam Murdoch, Philip Houston and Daniel Houston.
The standard of play, healthy numbers participating and the enjoyment level of the players was impressive throughout the season. The organisers plan to build on this success and a third division is a possibility for next season.
