Corporate Partnership Executive - Tesco

Salary: : £28,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience

Based: Trussell Trust head offices, Salisbury

Role outline:

The Trussell Trust leads the UK in tackling hunger and poverty through its network of over 400 foodbanks. The Trust has been fortunate in developing strong partnerships with leading corporate businesses including major UK supermarkets. This role would involve account managing the Trust’s largest retail partner alongside several other corporate partnerships in line with the charity’s objectives.

Account management of specific existing relationships:

1.  Tesco:

o  Co-ordinate national food collections; oversee/co-ordinate ad hoc and permanent collections & additional food donations.

o  Liaise with Tesco team and food bank network to ensure neighbourhood food collections run smoothly, problem solving when necessary.

o  Attend briefing days for Tesco store managers and cluster foodbank meetings when requested

o  Using data, prepare reports and analytics to share for internal teams for KPI/monitoring and evaluation purposes.

o  Identify new opportunities and negotiate with Tesco to deliver additional support to the Trust which will make a meaningful difference to the charity or foodbank operations

2.  Other Corporate Partnerships:

o  Manage a portfolio of corporate support or fundraising activities, events and initiatives and co-ordinate these with all relevant Trust personnel, foodbanks and any other relevant stakeholders.

o  Develop and maintain good working relationships with key personnel from each Partnership including on-boarding new contacts when necessary.

o  Help identify, negotiate and implement additional fundraising platforms for existing corporate partners.

o  Attend external meetings as required and any other stakeholder groups as required.

o  Attend conferences and networking meetings to gather intel and support to inform daily activities

Expectations within the role

o  Develop relationships with clear, achievable objectives with key decision makers.

o  Work closely with the corporate team and Trust’s teams to ensure a professional, co-ordinated approach to all supermarket collection, donations and campaigns

o  Raise an agreed level of income from key corporate partners each year.

o  Ensure timely delivery of progress reports and updates to existing partners.

o  Identify, and drive new Trussell Trust initiatives/events to increase income and/or the Trust’s supporter base from existing corporate relationships.

o  Present oral or written proposals, alone or in conjunction with colleagues

Trussell Trust Responsibilities

·  Provide support to other members of the Trussell Trust as required.

·  Prepare regular status reports on supermarket relationships for the Corporate Partnership Manager (CPM).

·  Work alongside the Data Co-ordinator to extract the key data and support this role to align foodbanks with supermarket store collections.

·  Deputise for CPM at meetings with supermarkets as required.

·  Lead meetings with supermarkets/ Trussell Trust personnel when briefing and giving feedback.

·  Provide information and support to foodbank network support and regional development teams as required.

·  Other reasonable tasks as delegated
