LGBTQ Web Resources List

The Seattle-Bellevue Area has many resources for LGBTQ people and our allies. The groups below all have websites with links to many other groups and resources.

B-GLAD (Bisexual, Gay, Lesbian, Transgender and Questioning Adolescent Group) of Youth Eastside Services in Bellevueis a drop-in support group open to kids ages 12 to 19 who may identify themselves as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender or who may be questioning their sexuality. Co-facilitated by trained professionals, the B-GLAD group enables youth to meet their peers, share common concerns, ask questions in a safe environment, and receive information and support in a professional setting that encourages responsible decision-making.

Dyke Community Activists: A social change group of lesbians open to all women who work for lesbian and women's rights and fight other oppressions including racism, class injustice, ableism, anti-Semitism against Arabs and Jews,and fat oppression.

Lambert House is a center for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning youth and their allies that encourages empowerment through the development of leadership, social and life skills. They serve youth 22 and younger

The Northwest Lesbian And GayHistoryMuseum Project. Sexual minority history in the Seattle area and the Pacific Northwest.

- PFLAG Bellevue exists to provide support, education, and advocacy for family, friends, and members of the GLBT community in Seattle's Eastside area. We work closely with Seattle PFLAG to serve the greater Puget Sound region.

-The Pacific Northwest Lesbian Archives exists to gather, preserve and make accessible primary source materials of lesbians in the Pacific Northwest in order to enhance public and scholarly understanding of our diverse regional history.

PUSH magazine is a queer feminist women’s publication based in Seattle.

Seattle Counseling All of the counselors are LGBTQ so they are a real resource for folks who need qualified therapists without facing discrimination and pathologization of their identity.

- the SeattleLGBTCenter seeks to build a powerful LGBT community movement with the strength of our LGBTQ Organizational Members to advocate for public policies that can improve the lives of Seattle LGBT organizations and community members. There is a drop in center, library, meeting facilities and the website has a large resource and referral list.

Different Spokes is a bicycling club for the GLBT community and our friends in the Seattle/Puget Sound area

Entre Hermanos: Latino LGBTQ group. Although the name might sound male-oriented it is a group for both men & women.

Men of All Colors and Cultures Together is a predominantly gay and bisexual, multiracial, multicultural organization for all people committed to the fostering of supportive environments wherein racial and cultural barriers can be overcome and the goal of human equality realized.

Northwest Two-Spirit Society: The group is attempting re-organization and their site (appears down at this time but their MSN Groups page is still active) ( The group is open to Native Two-spirited and allies.

People of Color Against AIDS Network:Home of multiple POC queer programs: Y.E.S. G/B/Q Young menof color; 4EveryMan for African American Gay/Bi men; T-Time for POC Transgenders (mostly male-femaleMTF); Sistah-to-Sistah for Lesbian/Bi African American women.

The UW Q Center facilitates and enhances an open, safe, inclusive, and celebratory environment for bisexual, lesbian, gay, queer, Two-spirit, transgender, intersex, questioning, same-gender-loving, differently oriented, and allied students, faculty, and staff.
