6 / Wards Forum:
The Ward Forum was very well attended. Presentations were made by the Police on community safety, and by David Summers (Transport Development Officer, Highland Council), on public transport. The Dial-a-bus concerns were numerous and it was not possible to highlight our concerns about speeding on the Cullicudden Straight at this juncture. At the close there is a 20 minute opportunity for the public to ask questions. This is not restricted to the topic matter.
The next meeting will be on 25th October at 6pm. / DH
7 / Planning applications:
It was not felt necessary to comment further on the planning application received this month. It was a resubmission from Highland Xmas Trees Ltd for a house plot SW of Seal View at Toberchurn, Culbokie.
8 / Correspondence + AOB:
Jetty at Balblair: HM was invited to attend the Cromarty Firth Port Authority AGM. Concerns have been raised again about the unsightliness of the Jetty. The matter will be raised at the next C.F.P.A. meeting.
