Research projects(2009-2010)

Department of Automobile Engineeringand Electrical and Electronics Engg received 3.5 lakhs &Rs.9.Lakhs, respectively from AICTE. Department of Electronics and Communication Engineeringreceived Rs.5.46 Lakhs from ER&IPR.Computer science received Rs.7 Lakhs for (2 yrs) from DRDO. Department of AM received 2.14 Lakhs from DRDO. Dean Research visited all the departments periodically and provided information on writing grants and the method of applying proposals to the funding agencies. Faculty members continued to make proposals to the funding agencies to receive funds, and results are awaited for many projects that were submitted to the funding agencies. Table 4 gives the information on the projects funded by funding agencies.
