Request for Review of RailCorpEngineering Standard

Engineering Standards have been published on the Internet to assist those undertaking engineering activities for or on behalf of RailCorp. RailCorp recognises that there may be a range of views within industry on the appropriate approach under different circumstances. RailCorp has a very large asset base to manage and needs to consider a range of factors when adopting or altering a standard. Factors in selecting particular standards include the performance of the equipment, its fit for the current asset base, training, logistics, installation and ongoing support, cost and safety.

In order to ensure the requests for review of engineering standards can be processed and managed RailCorp requires the requests and supporting information to be submitted in the standard format below.

RailCorp will notify the requestor within 2 weeks of receipt of a request, the plan of action for addressing the request.
