I.1PurposeofRFI

The Prince William County, Virginia Police Department (PWCPD) is contemplating the procurement and implementation of a Body Worn Camera (BWC) system. Prince William County is seeking information from BWC system vendors regarding all aspects of the products and services they offer. This includes, but is not limited to:

·All features, functions and system capabilities

·BWC devices

·BWC software

·Design and configuration

·Training and implementation

·End user utilization (i.e., ease of use, activation, etc.)

·Upload process

·Event tagging

·System Administration

·Redaction capabilities

·Retention/purge capabilities

·Sharing data capabilities (i.e., Prosecuting/Commonwealth Attorney’s Office)

·System reporting and statistical analysis capabilities

·IT infrastructure requirements

·Data security standards

·Data storage options to include CJIS compliance

·Interface capabilities

·Product support and maintenance

·Company background

·Current customers

·Future BWC developments/Roadmap information

·Any information companies believe would provide value to the research being conducted

I.2Responses to the RFI

Responses to this RFI shall be submitted to the County in writing. Responses must be received in the County’s Purchasing Office before the due date as reflected on the first page of this RFI. One hardcopy original and one softcopy on CD shall besubmitted. Documents shall be identified with the vendor’s name and contact information, and the RFI Nameand Number. Information submitted shall provide a clear understanding of the products and services that the vendor offers. Proprietary information that is submitted must be marked as such at the time of submission;properly marked proprietary information will not be disclosed to the public or any other vendor at any point in time. It should be noted that the purpose of this RFI is only to obtain information, and does not preclude a vendor from responding to any future RFP should they decide not submit a response to this RFI.
