Other program series offered by the CNE program:
Livin’ It Up: a program designed to promote physical wellness, healthy eating, and social interaction within the seniors community. The Livin’ It Up program consists of 6 sessions, each 1.5 - 2 hours long. The sessions include games, recipes, taste testing, information on nutrition myths, healthy eating promotion, resources, and an opportunity to ask questions.
Livin’ Better: a community program designed to teach general nutrition and physical activity information to individuals with mental health concerns. The program is five sessions and focuses on healthy eating, physical well being and social interaction. Food demonstrations are part of this program.
Kids in the Kitchen (cooking club for children)
Attendance at a wellness fair. The ‘What’s in Your Lunch Poster Boards’ can be used at many fairs.
