The Pre-bid Conference for the procurement of ready-mixed concrete for the following barangay road concreting projects: Amoros, Sambulawan, Taytay, Himaya, Ulaliman, Linabo and Kalabaylabay-San Francisco de Asis was called to order at 2:00 P.M. of June 8, 2015 held at BAC Office and was presided by the BAC Chairman, Engr. Mauricio L. Tomarong.
1. Business Matters:
v The BAC Chairman, Engr. Tomarong presented on the technical and financial components of the Bid, including the explanation of the different documents to be submitted by the bidder. Then he give brief explanation on the items to be bid on different categories:
v The following locations of road concreting with the corresponding quantity per unit and the approved budgets:
· Amoros - 240 cu. m. ₱ 1,416,000.00
· Sambulawan - 240 cu. m. ₱ 1,416,000.00
· Taytay - 240 cu. m. ₱ 1,416,000.00
· Himaya - 240 cu. m. ₱ 1,416,000.00
· Ulaliman - 240 cu. m. ₱ 1,416,000.00
· Linabo - 540 cu. m. ₱ 3,024,000.00
· Kalabaylabay - 1,000 cu. m. ₱ 5,900,000.00

v Opening of Bid: June 24, 2015 @ 1:00 P.M.
v Ms. Elisa R. Tan explained the following bonds that are required:
a. Bidders bond - during opening of bid
Amount: 2% of ABC if cash/check and bank guarantee
5% of ABC if surety bond
b. Performance bond – prior to signing of contract
Amount: 5% of PO if cash/check and bank guarantee
30% of PO if surety bond
v Delivery period: 10 days from receipt of Notice to Proceed or Purchase Order
v The BAC Chairman, also remind the bidders to review and double check the submitted bidding documents and must arranged them according to checklist. Submitted bid documents should be one (1) original / authenticated from the original and two (2) photo copies.
2. Noted Reactions/Comments from BAC Members and Bidders Representative:
v Mr. Leo N. Magriña reiterates that the materials should be delivered by the winning Supplier during working days (Monday to Friday) in between 8:00 a.m. to 4 p.m.
v Ms. Jacquline and Aileen requested that if they can also inspect the following sites.
There are no other remaining topics for discussion, the Pre-bid Conference adjourned at 2:36 P.M.
