Reporting Scores and Rescheduling Games for

Georgia Soccer –Youth Program Select Teams and Recreational Inter-League Schedule (RILS)

Reporting Scores

For Select team games, it is the responsibility of both coaches to report the score of a game per the Georgia Soccer youth rules. To enter scores, log into your account on the ADG website and click on the Schedules / Game Scoring link in the Tournament Applications/Game Scoring section, then on the Score box for your team. It is also the coach’s responsibility to contact the Age Group Coordinator (AGC) if there is a discrepancy in the reported scores, or any apparent and necessary changes to the standings.

Coaches of teams participating in the Georgia Soccer youthRecreation Inter-League Schedule (RILS) program may choose to report game scores, following the procedure above. PLEASE NOTE: The Recreation Inter-League Schedule process is not a state competition to determine a champion; scores and standings will only exist for informational purposes and may not be accurate as to actual game results since reporting is a voluntary option for coaches.

RILS scoring is not kept for age groups u12 and under. For those teams age u14 and older scoring and game results are optional. Teams may enter their scores or not. The flights teams play in each season varies. The primary factor the Age Group Coordinators use to set the flights depends on the number of teams in each group declared by the registration due date. Results or any standings are not a factor.

Incomplete standings and results will show up as some games are played and results not entered, rained out, or not played. GYSA does not provide any recognition to RILS teams for seasonal play.

Rescheduling Games

All rescheduling of games must be requested and accomplished through the Age Group Coordinator(for Select) or the Region/District Coordinator (for RILS). Please contact the AGC or RDC for all issues concerning rescheduling.

Age Group Coordinators and Region/District Coordinators

To find contact information for your Age Group Coordinator or Region/District Coordinator,go to click on the red “GYSA” at the top, choose Committee listings from the left hand menu column, then the appropriate Committee.

Please keep in mind that the people who serve as Age Group Coordinators and Region/District Coordinators are volunteers who give of their time to assist the Select orthe RILS program. Generally, these are the same people who also volunteer at the local level and may coach one or more teams in addition. Also, they have personal lives and careers and do they best that they can with the limited amount of time that they have while relying upon coaches (or their designate) to properly perform their function.
