Report – Celebration of First Constitution Day at KV Faridabad -2

The first Constitution Day was celebrated at KV Faridabad-2 with great enthusiasm ,as the students were encouraged to study in detail to get a thorough knowledge of the CONSTITUTION OF India.

The following program was conducted:

  1. Essay competition on the Topic-Our Constitution of Indiawas organized at the vidyalaya level on18/11/2015and the best three were selected by the panel of judges who are the teachers of vidyalaya.-MrsNishaGarg ,PGT English ,Mr.MahenderKumar,PGT HistoryMrHariom,PGTPol.Sc(contractual Teacher) . The winners are as follows:
  1. Shubham - class XII D
  2. Simran - class XI D
  3. Gracy - class VIIIA & Atharva-class VIII B
  1. The Quiz competition was organized in the Library of the vidyalayaon19/11/2015. It was conducted by Mrs.Rashmi Sharma PGT, Economics and MrsSangeetaRaghuvanshi PGT English. The winners are as follows:

First place-Team A - Shubham- class XII D, Jai payla-class XII D & Monu –XI D

Second place- Team D –Simran –class XII D, Riya –class VIII A & Harsha-class-VIII A

Third place- Team B - -Vimal- class VIII A ,Samriddhi- class VIIIA & Gracy- class VIII A

  1. The Preamble of the Constitution of India was read aloudin the morning Assemblyon26/11/2015byDr.Anjulata Singh, PGT Hindi & MrsSangeetaRaghuvanshi PGT English inHindi and English, respectively. A special lecture was also delivered by Mr. PrabhatMor, librarian, to the students about the silent features about our Constitution and its importance in our lives. He emphasized on the Fundamental Rights and Duties. It was also said that all of us should know our fundamental Duties, and then only we can lead our motherland to the path of progress. The complete history of –How the framework of Indian Constitution was discussed in the assembly and the students pledged that they will take all possible measures to keep the Integrity and sovereignty of India ,united.

The entire above program was organized under the guidance of Dr,(Mrs.) AmbikaKalra, the Principal of the vidyalaya.
