Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to introduce our Power of Attorney, Will Drafting Service and Estate Planning Service to you. We have two services which we can offer you.
Our Estate Planning Service is a fully comprehensive analysis of your financial position and enables us to discuss with you at length all matters of concern regarding your financial position. This service helps you with the planning of your assets including your requirements as to such matters as insurance, testamentary discretionary trusts and or any potential liability with regards to Capital Gains Tax upon your death.
We note that you are interested in our Power of Attorney Drafting Service. Should you wish to discuss our Estate Planning Service with us at a further time, we would be more than happy to discuss it with you at a mutually convenient time.
You may wish to consider appointing a person to act on your behalf with a Power of Attorney.
A Power of Attorney gives power to an Attorney appointed by you, unless limited in any fashion, to do anything that you could otherwise do and so it is fairly broad and you need to be careful and trust the people that you appoint as attorneys. A Power of Attorney can only be used during your lifetime and upon death it will no longer operate. We strongly recommend you give thought to making a Power of Attorney and would be more than happy to discuss this with you further.
Our Will Drafting Service is our traditional service where we draw your Will as per your instructions and requirements without any formal analysis of your financial position.
On many occasions we find upon listening to our clients that their affairs and holding of assets are totally different to their expectations and therefore will not be properly dealt with by their will despite their wishes!
As promised, we enclose our Power of Attorney and Will instruction sheets. We ask you to complete it and return to us prior to our meeting in order to assist us in the preparation of your Power of Attorney and/or your Will.
Please note that your Will may be revoked upon the following events:-
*By Marriage after the Will
*By another Will of document in proper form
*By destruction of the Will.
If you are unsure of circumstances that affect you, please do not hesitate to raise any questions with us.
We confirm our fees for the preparation of a Power of Attorney is $330.00 (incl GST); with the fees for a Power of Attorney and an essential Will, single at $440.00 (incl GST). Our fees for husband & wife Powers of Attorney is $440.00 (incl GST) with the fees for both Power of Attorneys and Wills, $795.00 (incl GST). An essential Will is generally where a person leaves all their assets to their spouse or in the event of both dying, then onto the children in equal shares.
If your Will is more complicated or in the event that you have additional requests, then further costs will apply and we will try and give you an estimate when you see us.
We advise that we offer a 10% discount to all senior citizens. Please advise accordingly if this applies to this Will.
In the event that you have additional requests, this may affect the fees charged for the preparation of your Will and we will provide you with an update of your fees at all times where possible.
We commend you on your foresight to attempt to resolve any potential problems as to the administration of your Estate, with the drawing of your Will.
Once you have made your Will with us, you are entitled to a FREE ANNUAL Will review. We will provide more information about this after you see us.
Some of the other benefits of becoming a client of this firm are that you will receive the firm’s periodical newsletter FREE and also you will receive a$50.00 discount voucher for the professional fees of your next conveyance matter.
We recommend that your Company constitution/Trust Deed be reviewed prior to drafting your Will to ensure same are in accordance with your wishes. We advise our fee for reviewing the documents is approximately $175.00 incl GST, however we would need to see the documents before providing a fixed quote.
Should you wish us to review your Company constitution/Trust Deed and take instructions to draft your wills, please our contact office.

- Payment of Initial Consultation at time of consultation;
