REPAIR SERVICE
Full maintenance service, calibration and repair, on a one time basis to restore performance to manufacturers’ published specifications included in quoted prices.
The prequoted repair service includes all labor and materials needed to effect repair, excluding:
1. Any single parts, or sub-assemblies over $50 each
2. Consumables like batteries, leads, paper and accessories
3. Extensive repairs necessitated by abuse, neglect, acts of God or unusual environmental conditions
Turnaround time three days for calibration and two weeks for repair service; emergency needs will receive prompt attention.
All equipment serviced is issued a Certificate of Certification noting failures found, corrective action taken, instruments used in servicing and National Institute of Standards Technology traceability numbers.
All equipment serviced will have a sticker noting date serviced, due date for preventive maintenance and service reference number.
All equipment serviced will be tracked. History of service will be maintained by both mechanical and electronic files, and mailed notifications will be sent to designated personnel for preventive maintenance recall.
CALIBRATION SERVICES
All calibrations are traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in compliance with MIL-STD45662, ANSI/NCSL Z540-1 and ISA 9002.
Minor repairs and small value parts are included with this service.
Mailed acknowledgment of receipt, within one working day, for all instruments or work orders received.
Warranted equipment is not to be sent in for repair.
Any equipment that should be serviced by the original manufacturer will be returned unrepaired with the above notation.
Repair that will cost more than standard repair rate set forth on this contract will require approval prior to performance of any repair. The following personnel to be contacted:

This contract may be expanded to cover repair of other like equipment using the same price structure or discount.
During the term of this contract either party may propose changes, provided thirty (30) days advanced written notice is furnished.
Warranty:90 days on labor and parts.
Supplier will pick-up and deliver equipment at no charge.
Payment Terms:Net
Vendor will indemnify the City of Seattle against loss due to fire, explosion, theft, riot, vandalism, malicious mischief and collision while unit is in their care, custody & control.
