ATHLETICS Training Camps
Fast Feet Development views the training of athletes and coaches as an educational task, and attempts to make a valuable contribution that would benefit the young people of South Africa. As we have the necessary facilities at Camp Discovery and the services of highly competent coaches and leaders at our disposal, we urge you to make use of this offer

More about Camp Discovery
Camp Discovery is a 270 hectare game reserve, situated 60km north of Pretoria in the Dinokeng Conservation Area. A variety of game, bird and tree species are found here in typical bushveld habitat. Regular game drives are part of the programme. Sightings include species like eland, giraffe, sable antelope, water buck, red hartebeest, kudu, impala, blue wildebeest, zebra, nyala, duiker, steenbuck and warthog. We also breed with golden gnu and black impala.
Our facilities and facilitators are a proof of our excellent quality. Activities that add value to the program are amongst others cycling, box cart races, obstacle course and our excellent menu!
Preparation for the coming season
In order to keep young athletes busy during this long mid yearholiday Fast Feet Development
is conducting a training camp at Camp Discovery in July 2010.
At these camps athletes will be coached in sprints, hurdles, middle distances, long jump, high jump and shot put.
There will also be sessions on outcome based outdoor activitieslike: group dynamics, leadership, hiking trials and survival skills. At CampDiscovery the athletes will also be taken on a game drive.

Venue: CampDiscovery – Rust de Winter –It is a 270 hectare Game Reserve situated
60km north of Pretoria. Children sleep in very neat dormitories.
NB: Athletes should arrange their own transport.
