Remember to pay your tuition of $25 when you register.

How to pay:

  1. By cash, check, or money order:
  • Payments in cash must be paid in person only at the Cashier’s Office(2nd floor in the CC Building) between 8 a.m. and 4 p. m. Monday through Friday. On Tuesdays, the cashier is open until 5:30.
  • Your check or money order should be made out to North Seattle College.
  • You may pay by check or money order in person at the Cashier’s Office (2nd floor in the CC Building).
  • You can mail your check or money order to the following address:

Be sure to attach the coupon below with your name and student ID number to your payment.

  1. By credit or debit card:
  • Credit card payments can be made online or in person at the Cashier’s Office.
  • If you pay online, go to the following website:
  • You will need your Student Identification Number (SID) from your North Seattle ID card.
  • You will need your Personal Identification Number (PIN). Your pin number is your birth date written as MM/DD/YYYY, unless you changed it.
  1. Important:
  • If you do not pay, you can be dropped from the class and you cannot register for next quarter.
  • You can get a refund through the 2nd week of the quarter. It costs $6.00 to process a refund.
  • If you cannot pay, please see next page for help.

Follow the steps below to get help:

Step 1: Find and bring documents to show you are a low-income student.

Please bring one or more of the following:

Quest Card (Food Stamp Debit Card)

Washington State medical coupon

Basic Health Plan Card (such as Community Health Plan card)

DSHS Work First Individual Responsibility Plan

DSHS General Approval Cash/Food Letter

Unemployment Notice

Employment Security Benefits Statement

HUD Housing Award Letter

Working Connections

Child Care (WCCC) Award Letter

SSI Program notifications

Free or reduced lunch documentation

Utility Bills that show low income status

Documentation of participation in Women and Infant Care, (WIC)

Step 2: At the end of the quarter before the next quarter starts OR at the beginning of the quarter:

- Go tothe Workforce Education in OCE&E Room 240.

- Show your documents (from step1).

- Apply for Scholarship to help pay for tuition and books.

- If accepted, get books and go to class.

Step 3: If not accepted at the Workforce Education Office,

at the beginning of the quarter:

- Go tothe Basic and Transitional Studies Office (IB2407C).

- Show your documents (from step 1).

- Apply for a scholarship to pay tuition.

- Complete the form to borrow textbooks from the ESL lending library (green form).

- Go borrow books from the library.

- Go to class.
