Winter Expedition – Russia

February half term 2014

An expedition to Russia for Explorer Scouts, Scout Network members and leaders, based in an area just north of St. Petersburg. Winter activities include overland skiing with Russian Scouts.

Peak 2015 – Chatsworth Park, Derbyshire

25 July - 1 August 2015

The Scout & Guide camp held every 5 years in the grounds of the historic Chatsworth House. Once again the Duke & Duchess of Devonshire are allowing Scouts & Guides groups from all around the world to camp for a whole week within the private grounds of the Chatsworth Estate.

The next camp is planned for 2015 where we expect over 4,000 young people will take part in one of the most exciting Scout & Guide camps in the world where they will make new friends, have the opportunity to take part in new and exciting activities and experience a truly unique atmosphere.

Omaha Beach Camporee - France

25-27 April 2014

Join members of BSA as they commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Normandy landings. All are welcome – especially relatives of Scouts who served during the war. Friday will open with a reception to introduce everyone and to meet World War II veterans. The theme for Saturday will be planned programmes around peace and partnership through Scouting values. Evening campfire will be on a bluff overlooking Omaha Beach. This is an outstanding event and a weekend that youth (especially older youth) and adults will remember for the rest of their lives.

5th Mongolian National Jamboree

2 – 8 July 2014

Mongolian and overseas groups exchange experiences, learn about Mongolian cultures, with around 1200 participants.

Red Rose 2014 – Lake District

26 July – 2 August 2014

An exciting international camp in the English Lake District for Scouts, Explorer Scouts and Network from across the world. Activities will fully utilise the outdoor activities available in the beauty of the English Lake District for all levels. Activities will include hill walking, climbing, caving, cycling, and arrange of other activities.

E2014 – Stevninghus Scout Centre, Denmark

22 – 31 July 2014

A Danish camp with 10,000 other scouts from across Europe. The camp will have a Viking theme with activities from the Viking era with some traditional Danish camping skills.

3rd Eurasia Region Jamboree 2014 - Kazakhstan

25 July – 4 August 2014

Join 600-800 scouts in Kazakhstan for this international event.

150 Euro for participants and 50 euro for IST.

The official language of the event will be Russian, however non speakers of Russian will be provided a translator for the event.

An exciting international camp in the founder County of Scouting in Dorset for Cubs Scouts, Guides, Explorer Scouts and Network from across the world. Activities will fully utilise the outdoor activities available on our site including our 5 acre lake. Activities will be out of this world and never been done before.

German National Jamboree – Full Steam

6 – 14 August 2014

About 4000 scouts and guides gather on a camping site in the midst of the biosphere reserve "Swabian Alb" 50 km south of Stuttgart to hold the German National Jamboree. We invite scouts and guides who are members of WAGGGS or WOSM to join the jamboree together witha German partner group. If you do not have a partner group, we will help you to find one. During the jamboree we want to take up the spirit of the 19th century and experience technical progress andinventions of the era of the industrial revolution.

NORJAM 2014 – Norfolk Showground

9–16 August 2014

The 14th International Scout and Guide Jamboree in Norfolk. More than 5,000 young people will attend a week of activities, fun, excitement, new experiences and the chance to build a lifetime of memories and friendships. NORJAM 2014’s theme is ‘Back in Time’. All six sub-camps will be based on this theme, so be prepared for a fun-packed week! Activities include air rifle shooting, climbing, quad bikes, scuba diving, sailing and much more. For Scouts and Guides aged 10 to 18.

Australian Venture

The 16th Australian Venture (AV2015 SA Heaps Good) will be held at Woodhouse Activity Centre, Adelaide, South Australia from 2nd to 13th January 2015.

An Australian Venture is the major National youth event for the Venturer section (14 - 18 years old) of Scouts Australia. You get to meet other Venturers and Guides from all over Australia and around the world.
