Relay For Life is a fun filled, event that offers everyone an opportunity to participate in the fight against cancer. Teams of family members, friends, co-workers and others join together each year to raise funds for the American Cancer Society and make a difference in the community. In honor of those who battle cancer 24 hours a day, team members typically take turns walking the track throughout the day. For those not walking, there is around the clock action to keep everyone busy. From entertainment, food and games to touching ceremonies and stories of inspiration, there is something for everyone at Relay For Life.

Today, businesses should strive to position themselves as corporate leaders committed to the well-being of their employees in a variety of ways. To assist businesses, the American Cancer Society has a multitude of resources, which will further the achievement of their employee wellness goals and much more.

To join with and demonstrate their support for the local community, businesses can participate in the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life, a community event in over 400 communities throughout Ohio and Pennsylvania.

The American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life provides businesses with an opportunity to play a distinguished role as a community leader. Participating in Relay For Life enables businesses to demonstrate their commitment as an organization to improving the quality of life in their community. In addition, businesses will benefit from the significant media coverage Relay For Life earns each year.

Businesses can get involved by underwriting the event through a financial donation, becoming a corporate sponsor, conducting a mini Relay at the worksite and/or sending a team of employees to participate. Relay For Life gives businesses the opportunity to make a positive statement about their commitment to the fight against cancer.

Relay For Life is a great way for businesses to:
