Demonstrate an understanding of lighting instruments, control boards. / Design for the Theatre: Students will demonstrate foundational competence in theatrical design (which may include: scenic, costume, lighting, sound, props, or makeup design) and the ability to creatively, safely, and critically present their ideas in a theatrically engaging manner.
Dramaturgy for the Theatre: Students demonstrate competence in effective critical evaluation/contextualization of scripts and productions, and the elements (i.e. including, but not limited to: historical, cultural, creative factors) which conspire to create these productions.
