“Maintaining Our Profession for the Future – the Contribution Environmental Health makes to the Wider Public Health Agenda”

The event will consider the Wider Public Health Agenda in Scotland, including the Scottish Government's Public Health Review and where the Environmental Health Profession fits within this. This is intended for both student and qualified officers that are interested in the Wider Public Health Agenda and ensuring that we maintain a profession fit for purpose into the future. The event will provide details of initiatives/programmes that EHO's are currently active in, and describe ways in which we can and will contribute to the agenda in the future.

There will be 3hrs Core CPD available for attendance at the training event event.

This event is free to members and £30 for non-members – booking is essential.

REHIS Southern Centre AGM

The Southern Centre is hosting its 2016 Annual General Meeting at the above venue, date and time. REHIS members are cordially invited to attend the AGM and to elect the Committee for 2016/17. Current Committee members are encouraged to put themselves forward for re-election. Members seeking election to the Committee should forward their intentions together with any supporting material to the Southern Centre Secretary (Pat Hoey) as soon as possible. In the event that more than one member is standing for a single post, (Chair, Vice Chair or Secretary) an election by members at the AGM will decide the outcome in accordance with REHIS rules.

The AGM will be preceded by an extended morning training seminar on ““Maintaining Our Profession for the Future – the Contribution Environmental Health makes to the Wider Public Health Agenda”.

In addition there will also be a REHIS Road Show Eventwith the opportunity to engage with REHIS staff and Council members.

REHIS members attending these events are welcome to stay on for the AGM.
