REGULATIONS FOR COMPETITION
1. The competition/championship will be conducted following SOBHD rules. The judge’s decision is final.
2. All age groups will be determined according to the number of entries. All competitors’ ages determined as of the day of the competition, June 4, 2016. Proof of age must be furnished upon request.
3. Medals will be awarded in each event, except PREMIER 16 & Overwhere cash prizes will be awarded. Adult premier dancers may select whether they wish to compete in the 16 & Over category and be eligible for prize money, or the 22 & Over for medals. DANCERS MUST BE IN COSTUME TO RECEIVE AWARDS. If there are three dancers or less in any event, medals will be awarded at judges’ discretion.
4. A trophy will be awarded to the highest aggregate point winner in each age group. No trophy for Primary.
5. Dancers entering first will dance last. Dancers must be ready and appear when called or forfeit the chance to dance in that event.
6. Please bring your “2016” registration card to the competition.

Entry fees are *$25.00 for pre-premier and *$30.00 for premier. Entries postmarked prior to May 27th would be greatly appreciated!
$1.00 of each entry goes to Midwest FUSTA.

In consideration of the presentation of the 2016 Highland Games and the opportunity to participate in those Games, I hereby waive any rights, claims or causes of action that I might have now or in the future against Scottish Festivals, Inc. and its agents for any injuries that I might suffer on June 4, 2016 as a result of the negligence of Scottish Festivals, Inc., its agents or any other person or entity. I also covenant not to sue and agree to indemnify Scottish Festivals, Inc, or its agents for any claims, including claims for damages caused by the negligence of Scottish Festivals, Inc, or it agents, that are filed against those released parties if such claims arise out of injury to myself on June 4, 2016.

Please note: dancers check in at the participants table which is located outside the main gate to receive their entry passes. Dance registration will be in the dancing area! Nothing will be mailed to the dancers.
