Regular Market (Tuesday and Saturday)
Permanent Trader£2.40 per foot of frontage
Any trader that has been trading on Leighton Buzzard Market for at least 4 weeks can opt to be a permanent trader. Being a permanent trader secures your pitch and benefits from a lower tariff. Permanent traders are expected to trade every week and are allowed 4 days off or “free days”.
Casual Trader£3.40 per foot of frontage
Traders can trade as (in)frequently as they like but are not guaranteed a pitch and pay a higher tariff
Charity Stall£0 / £10 per day
One stall per market day is allocated to local charities and not for profit organisations. All such groups in the Leighton-Linsladearea are entitled to 1 free visit per year and 3 further visits at £10 per day. This stall needs to be booked in advance. Please see the Charity stall application form for further details.
Specialist Markets
Pop Up Market£15 per day
Held on the 1st Saturday of every month alongside the regular market. This is for new start-up businesses and budding entrepreneurs wishing to “dip their toe in the water”. An 8 foot council stall is provided and traders can utilise the Town Council’s public liability insurance (product insurance not incorporated). Traders are allowed to attend the market once under this scheme.
Farmers Market£18 per day
Held on the 3rd Saturday of every month alongside the regular market for producers wishing to sell directly to the public. An 8 foot council stall is provided.
Craft Market£20 per day
Held on the 4th Saturday of the month from March until October alongside the regular market. Open to traders selling locally handmade goods. An 8 foot council stall is provided.
