A.(010115-1)Council accepts the bid of $15,588.10 from Ron Ledger & Sons, of Amity, Maine, for the timber harvest of the Monticello woodlot.

B.(010115-2)Council confirms the Town Manager’s appointment of Kevin A. Tingley as Code Enforcement Officer for the Town of Houlton.

C.(010115-3)Council confirms the Town Manager’s appointment of the Town Manager as Airport Director and Emergency Management Director for the Town of Houlton.

D.(010115-4) Council confirms the Town Manager’s appointment of Milton J. Cone as Ambulance Director for the Town of Houlton.

E.(010115-5) Council confirms the Town Manager’s appointment of Milton J. Cone as Fire Chief for the Town of Houlton.

L.(010115-12)Council authorizes the Council Chairman to sign the “Approval of Transfer” formto transfer criminal forfeiture funds of $8,680.00in Canadian currency, to the Town of Houlton Police Department.

M.(010115-13)Council authorizes the Town Manager to waive the bid process to purchase a 2011 Arctic Cat Bearcat snow-sled from Tidd’s Sports Center and agrees to reallocate the funds designated as “Matching Funds for Fire Department grants” in the amount of $4,467.46 (account #401-148-14) to be used for this purchase. The Town Manager certifies that this purchase is in the best interest of the Town.

N.(010115-14)The Town of Houlton ordains execution of the “Consent to AssignmentResolution”that approves the Asset Purchase Agreement between NEPSK Inc., d/b/a as Polaris Cable, and Time Warner Cable Northeast LLC, for the cable system assets, that includes the Town of Houlton Franchise Agreement and authorizes the Town Manager to sign all documents pertaining to this assignment. (Note: the documents in their entirety are available for review at the Town Office during normal business hours.)
