A LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT:
Are you ready to start “Tuning In and Plugging Away”? I’ll bet all of us feel that we plug away every day. How much nicer would it be if we had more time to get tuned in? FERPA, lottery, Banner, degree mills, change, change, change…Don’t you feel like “always on & high-speed” describes both you and your internet connection?
We all live and work in a cable TV world with 100 channels and nothing on. Just plug it in and flip, flip, flip. We want and need it to be plug-and-play and instantly gratifying, but do we enjoy what we’ve got? The days of rabbit ears when the “Big Three” networks were pretty much all the networks are a distant memory. How long has it been since video games were little blocks controlled by one-button joysticks?
Well, if you’re ready to get your batteries recharged, I know there’s one place where we can at least get good reception when trying to get tuned in. The TACRAO Annual Meeting will be November 16-18, 2005 at the Nashville Airport Marriott hotel. Don’t miss this chance to catch this first run show with all of your friends.

THE BIG EVENT:
Wednesday’s Big Event is an evening of food and fun. We will be traveling to Opry Mills for you to choose your own food and fun. Jillian’s, Regal Movie Money, and Food Gift Certificates will be provided for you to enjoy your dining and shopping experience (NOTE: You must attend the opening remarks at 4:30 p.m. at the hotel to receive tickets).
Opry Mills features the best names in manufacturers’ and retail outlets including Nike,OFF 5th Saks Fifth Avenue, Gap Outlet and Old Navy; high quality entertainment venues including Regal Cinemas and Jillian's and various themed restaurants.
