We welcome your family to the 2017-2018 Faith Formation School Year! We look forward to working with you on your family’s faith journey.

We are fortunate to have a successful Faith Formation program. It’s continued success depends, a great deal, on parental support and involvement.

Our Pre-k students use Stories of God’s Love and our Kindergarten uses Faith First, both from RCL Benziger publications . Our elementary students (grades 1-6) use the Be My Disciples program, also from RCL. This program integrates an interactive website as a source of support for parents and stories and activities related to the lesson of the week for our students. Upper elementary students also are assigned some homework.

It is to everyone’s advantage—your student, the catechist and the other members of the class--, if there is consistent class attendance. And please, make a special effort to be on time, both for arrival and dismissal.

Sunday morning preschool and K classes will not be dismissed until Mass is over. Please do not come early as this is a distraction for the teachers and the other children.

  • Sunday morning elementary students will be dismissed in the courtyard. Children attending 11:00 Mass will enter at the Offertory of the Mass. Please let your student know where you will be sitting in Church so that they can easily find you.
  • Please discuss with your student the appropriate behavior in class. Cooperation, respect for catechists and for their fellow students is expected. We ask that if they arrive early, they wait in the hall until their teacher is in the classroom; that there be no running or shouting in the halls; that they complete their homework if assigned; and that they respect the property of others.
  • Periodically we need assistance with some aspects of our program. We would love to have your involvement!!
