SELECT ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Started up non-profit organization. Began Our Lady of Victory Education Center for Mental Illness, the only non-profit to alleviate the costs of mental health care. Goal is to provide reduce costs of HMO's and insurance plans for the mentally ill. Work to provide coverage for pre-existing conditions.

Developed lucrative relationships with business leaders. Actively cultivate and nurture relationships with business leaders nationwide to provide support and funding for Our Lady of Victory Education Center. Built bridges with the business community, gaining both services and financial support.

Implemented effective bereavement program. Developed online presence, including website and blog to facilitate donations and community support.

Created new program providing healthcare to rural communities. Natives in Nebraska did not receive appropriate health care. Partnered with medical professionals at University of Nebraska to build a team to provide regular treatment and healthcare.

CAREER HISTORY

Clinical Research Coordinator, Our Lady of Victory Education Center for Mental Illness, 1997 to present. Manage $90K budget and two employees for this non-profit advocacy group. Perform administration as well as clinical research through surveys. Develop strategic partnerships with local healthcare facilities to provide services to those in need. Overseen subject enrollment to ensure that informed consent is properly obtained and documented. Coordinate and supervise provision of services. Develop instructional programs for training and education.

Counseling & Support Services

Bereavement Care Coordinator, AseraCare Hospice, 2009 to 2011. Perform assessments, facilitate support groups’ crisis interventions, perform bereavement counseling, and lead memorial services.
