Reflection: The E-portfolio Process
An e-portfolio is a great way for me to keep track of my work in my UNIV class as well as my other classes at NIU. I can add information about my assignments and reflections in order for me to remember why these assignments are important for my education. Thinking back to my first year of high school I cannot remember much of the work that I did. It would have been beneficial for me to have had an e-portfolio that way I could have looked back and reflected on my completed high school work. Thinking of this I know that beginning an e-portfolio in my first year of college will help myself and others see how much I have learned and how much I have grown. I am excited to use this tool to enhance my college experience.
I believe the e-portfolio is also a great tool because it can allow other professors or employers to view my work all in one place. It can also help me relate the material I have previously learned to new material I will learn in other classes. I want to be able to retain as much knowledge as I can from my college experience so that I can make the most of my time here. I believe it will be a rewarding experience to look back at my freshman year e-portfolio upon my graduation in 2019.
I hope that the e-portfolio platform will help me become a better student. I want to be able to put more effort into my assignments because I know that my ideas on paper reflect who I am as a person. Reflection of all my assignments will help me learn more about the material and also more about myself.
