Reflection Essay-MP3
Now that we are half way through the school year, it is time to reflect on how our lives are going. This essay is an opportunity for you to explore where you are going and how you are going to get there. Please write a 3-5 paragraph essay using the following questions as a guide.
- Do you like the way your report card looks after two marking periods? Will this help you get into the college of your choice/get the job you want? If you like it, what are you doing to be so successful? If you don’t like it, what are you doing to undermine your success?
- Do you like your social standing? Are you happy with the friends you have? Are you as popular as you hoped to be? Are you lonely? If you are happy, what contributes to this success? If you are unhappy, what step could/should you take to improve your friend situation?
- Are you able to afford your lifestyle? Do you have a job? Are you going to need to pay for college? Does your afterschool job help/hurt your school performance? Would you want this job forever? If you are unemployed, do you want a job and if yes, what steps have you taken?
- When you become an adult- How do you think the actions you take today will affect your future schooling, job, social or economic status? Is there anything you can do NOW to ensure a better future?
