Marine –Recent Past Performance Summary:

  1. USS PORTER (DDG-78) Air Conditioning (A/C) Plant Repair. BAE Systems sub-contracted RSI in July 2007 to repair the 200-ton A/C Plant. A complete re-tubing and compressor overhaul was required. With the ship deploying to the Arabian Gulf, RSI completed the emergent repairs to help make the ship fully combat ready.
  2. USS DEWERT (FFG-45) Air Conditioning Plant Flush and Repair. L-3 Communications – PACORD routinely calls on RSI’s extensive Marine experience to perform work for them on their Navy contracts. The 80-ton plant required extensive leak repairs as well as a complete flush of the system. RSI sent a team to Jacksonville, Fl in July 2007 to complete the repairs.
  3. SS McARTHUR - BlackWater USA asked RSI to bid several jobs while the former NOAA vessel was berthed in Norfolk during July 2007 for repairs. RSI was given work including A/C compressor overhaul, duct cleaning and miscellaneous refrigeration system repairs.
  4. STARFIRE Yacht A/C Condenser Installation. OceanMarineYachtCenter called on RSI to install two condensers onboard the STARFIRE in June 2007.
  5. USS BOONE (FFG-28)Air Conditioning Plant and Main Refrigeration Plant Overhauls. L-3 Communications – PACORD subcontracted RSI to pressure test the ship’s plants to determine plant condition in May 2007. The units required extensive repairs. RSI worked together with the prime contractor to complete the complex repairs on-time.
  6. USS WHIDBEY ISLAND (LSD-41) Air Conditioning Unit Repair and leak testing. Earl Industries brought RSI in to repair three of the ship’s A/C Units in March and April - 2007.

Facility Clearance: All Refcon Services technicians have all been certified through the Federal Protective Service for work in all area Federal Buildings. Additionally, they have been cleared through the Department of Navy for work on all Mid-Atlantic Naval Bases.
