Unit 3 – Managing your money
On page 8 & 9 of the booklet, fill in the time management activities.
Think about how much money you are likely to spend when at Uni, e.g. mobile bills, food & drink, travel etc. Page 7 might help you.
How much will University cost? Find out about fees and whether you can get a bursary to cover some of the cost. Also do some research on student loans and grants? Figure out how much you can get and how much you need to pay.
You need to write a 500 – 1000 word assignment on the research you have conducted in the unit 3 booklet.
Unit 4
You need to start collecting the evidence for unit 4. For example, if you have done a presentation in school you need to get your teacher to fill in the teacher feedback form a put it into the portfolio. You can do this either by taking a picture of the form, getting it done electronically or by scanning it in and attaching to your e-portfolio.
You need to write a draft personal statement to include in your portfolio.
You also need to complete a summative statement about the whole Progression Module.
