Job Description

Department:Operations

Reporting to:Housing Services Manager

SUMMARY OF POST

To provide a Neighbourhood and tenancy management service to existing and future residents ensuring that terms and conditions of tenancy are maintained and Landlord obligations fulfilled. To provide services to mixed tenure households including general needs, shared owners and Leaseholders.

Key Tasks

  • To let all new tenancies in accordance with our statutory and policy obligations.
  • To ensure residents comply with all the terms and conditions of their tenancy/and or lease and carry out intervention and enforcement actions where appropriate
  • To manage all internal and external common areas in partnership with our repairs and maintenance team and our residents.
  • To ensure full legal and statutory compliance in the delivery of a tenancy and neighbourhood management service.
  • To develop internal and external partnerships with statutory and 3rd party agencies to ensure the needs of residents are fulfilled.
  • To sign post residents to relevant support agencies to ensure any vulnerabilities and support needs are addressed.
  • To follow all relevant policies and procedures in the delivery of neighbourhood and tenancy services.
  • To deliver excellent customer service in accordance with Mount Green’s customer service standards.
  • To involve residents in the management of their homes and the areas where they live.

Note: This job description is a broad summary of the role; it does not cover every issue or task which may arise within the post at various times. The post-holder is expected to work flexibly and carry out other duties as required from time to time.
